Bolognese Sauce:
In a large deep skillet:
Cook lean ground beef with one diced onion
Optional: add diced peppers
Add seasonings: Onion powder, garlic powder, paprika, italian seasoning, salt
Add about 1 cup beef broth
Add 1/3 cup lentils
Add pasta sauce
Simmer for 20 mins or longer
Cook pasta as per box instructions. Cook to al dente and finish cooking the pasta in the sauce.

Cherry Tomatoes
Carrots
Peppers
If eating in a calorie deficit, use either oil/vinegar or a measured portion of light salad dressing. I serve the kids full fat salad dressings.
